Valencia Golf and Country Club was an 18 hole course in the out skirts of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Redevelopment turned the Country Club into Valencia Developments, in which the course was turned into 9 holes and the balance was made into high class housing. The 9 hole course was redeveloped 2 years ago and Ag & Turf were engaged to perform drainage on a wet spot by wet spot basis. As per most of Ag & Turf's golf course drainage systems the lateral lines were stripped of turf (photo A), then the lateral was trenched and back filled (photo B ), after which the turf was relayed. After a period of some 3-4 weeks the slit drains were trenched across the lateral lines (photo C).
