For 22 years Tractors Ag & Turf Ltd have specialised in sports field construction and drainage using the latest technology and equipment available to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
The majority of our drainage contracts have been managed by the NZ Sports Turf Institute.
Many of these projects have been New Zealand's major sporting grounds, local body parks and golf courses situated throughout the country.
Together with our experienced staff, specialised equipment and machinery we can ensure that all projects are completed timely, efficiently and to a very high standard. This enables playing surfaces to be returned to playing condition with minimum disruption to schedules.

The company also manufacturers, supplies and exports all equipment needed to maintain any project, and has supplied such equipment on all overseas projects so far. Such equipment include Tractors, Mowers, Seeders, Sand Spreaders, Dethatchers, Irrigators, Line Markers, Gang Mowers, Fertiliser Spreaders etc.

Ag And Turf News...

08-07-2004 - Ag & Turf Pte in Singapore has just started their second project for United World Collage in less than 2 years. This project entails the construction of a junior soccer field in their new sporting complex. The contract requires Ag and Turf to prepare sub grade, install pop up irrigation, laterals, level top soil, install slit drains, spread a 50mm sand carpet and sow couch stolons.

07-05-2004 - Ag And Turf starts two new companies in South East Asia. They are Ag And Turf Sdn Bhd in Malaysia And Ag and Turf Pte Ltd in Singapore. These are wholly owned subsidiaries of Sportsground Developments which in turn is owned by the same directors of Tractors Ag and Turf Ltd in New Zealand.

 

01-03-2004 - Ag and Turf changes tractor brands but sticks with the same iron. Ag & Turf have just taken delivery of 2 new McCormick cx80 tractors. These tractors are from the same Doncaster plant in the UK as they were sold under the Case IH banner. Same tractor but Different red. Ag & Turf have found these the most ideal units for there application. We have a replacement program to replace all the tractors with McCormick products over the next 3 years. This includes their off shore operations.

25-02-2004 - Ag and Turf on the move in NZ Ag and turf have been engaged to slit drain the course proper at Manuwatu Racing Clubs Awapuni track. This picture shows the main truck and trailer load of equipment needed to complete the project ready to roll on the 30th of Jan 2004.

01-12 -2003 - Ag and Turf on the move again in Malaysia. After a 3 month stint in Sungai Boluh at The Valencia Developments redeveloped 9 hole golf course Ag and Turf have moved on to the next project (photo A).
The next project, (the sixth overseas project in three countries in 2003) is to construct an international standard cricket ground in Bander Kinrara. Ag and Turf have sent specialized equipment to carry out the job. The equipment you see in the photos is about 1/3 of the equipment that Ag and Turf have at our disposal (photos B & C).
